New ordinance prohibits overstuffed furniture on porches…
Fatal fires have occurred in campus communities across the country because of this hazard. This fire code update is intended to prevent a similar tragedy in State College.
- Violators of this ordinance will receive a written warning first, followed by a fine if you fail to comply.
- The fines range from $150 to $1,000 for each occurrence.
- Do your part in making your house safe from fire.
