Section 104 "Application" is amended (by State Act 93) to exempt the following from building permit: ‹500 sq. ft carport; ‹500 sq. ft detached private garage; ‹500 sq. ft shed; Agricultural Buildings (see exemption form); Recreational Cabins (see exemption form)

Section 311.5.3 "Stair Treads and Risers" is amended (by State Act 93) to: maximum riser height shall be 8-1/4" and minimum tread depth shall be 9".

Section 403.62 "Permit Requirements & Exemptions" is amended (by State Act 93) to exempt the following from building permit: Uncovered deck, less than 30" above grade.

Section 903.2.14 "Use Group B": amended to add: An automatic fire suppression system shall be provided throughout all buildings of Use Group B when more than 3 stories of 35 feet in height, or more than 10,000 sq. ft. per floor, in accordance with Section 903.1.1.

Section 1608.2 "Ground Snow Loads": is amended to add: Ground snow loads to be used in determining the design snow loads for roofs are PG 40 per sq. ft.
